“The true value of networking doesn’t come from how many people we can meet but rather how many people we can introduce to others.”
— Simon Sinek.
As a natural convener and connector, I treasure community, opportunities for networking, and nurturing relationships. A strong introvert, I was pleasantly awakened to my enthusiasm for networking during my year in Leadership Buffalo- #BOAT ’22, and have since been inspired to heighten my networking and connecting others.
I tapped into my entrepreneurial spirit in 2023, and shifted from “employee” to “small business owner”. This transition has afforded me even greater appreciation for networking. I’ve been exploring various spaces through which to meet other business owners and learn more about their services.
One of the greatest gifts of networking is introducing and connecting people within my networks, including business owners, professional colleagues and friends, to support their mutual success.
What gifts have you discovered through your networking?
